The maiden edition of the conference took place on August 3rd – 5th 2016 hosting delegates and participants from all over Nigeria and abroad.
The Conference ended with various notable Nigerians such as; her Excellency Amina J Mohammed, applauding the conference as a commendable initiative which must be continued in order to give the future generations to come hope and knowledge to be able to carry their light within.
Oxfam International, a notable Non-Governmental Organization, remarked on the quality of the resolutions provided by the delegates such that they were going to do all they could to take it to the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The United Nations Information Centre labelled the Conference “A must for any youth if he or she wants to move up the next plane of existence”. With the Lagos Model United Nations 2016, we triumphed over adversity.
