Ivan Bekaren
Secretary-General
Ivan Bekaren is a multi-hyphenate law student, with a passion for positive change, youth, and personal development. Also, as evidenced by the Rebuildmymind project spearheaded by him for mental health for the youths in Lagos Nigeria, in line with sdg 3 in 2021, he is a wellness-trained and adept individual who cares passionately about a better world for all. He has served in various executive capacities as a Law Student and is the Secretary-General for the Lagos Model United Nations 2022/23.
Treasure Okure
Deputy Secretary General
Treasure Okure is a 400-level law student at the University of Lagos. She is a creative mind whose passion for humanity and sustainable development cuts across various interests including tech, women’s rights, literature, and more. She is currently serving as the Deputy Secretary General of the Lagos Model United Nations 7th Edition in line with her strong desire to effect positive change in a negative world.
Janet Ikhiede
Assistant Secretary-General I
Janet Ikhiede is a 400-level student of the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos. She is passionate and has a keen interest in actively contributing towards achieving the SDGs. She hopes that one day, youths would be more involved in achieving a sustainable world and a better future.
Her MUN journey started in 2020 when she participated in an International MUN and won an award. She then participated in two other MUNs before having her first LMUN experience as a researcher of the UNESCO committee and rapporteur at LMUN 2021.
Janet will be serving as the Assistant Secretary-General I at the Lagos Model United Nations 2022/23 Conference.
Mmesoma Okonkwo
Assistant Secretary General 2
Mmesoma Okonkwo is a 300 level student of the faculty of law, at the University of Lagos. She is passionate about human rights and equality, including but not limited to gender and race.
Her involvement in LMUN began in 2019 when she was a delegate from Switzerland in the General Assembly 2nd committee. In 2021 she participated in the conference as a delegate from Chile in the UN Women committee where she won the outstanding delegate award. She also served as an LMUN ambassador for the sixth session of the conference. She will be serving as the Assistant Secretary-General for LMUN 2022/23.
Okegbemi Mofiloluwalowo Oluwatunmise
Under Secretary General Research
Okegbemi Mofiloluwalowo Oluwatunmise is a 300 student of the faculty of law, university of Lagos. He’s interested in the SDGs particularly SDG 5 because he is passionate about gender equality and advocating for the rights of women and girls. In his free time, he enjoys African literature and good music.
Suenu Rahmat A.
Under Secretary General, Peace, Security & Human Rights Department
Rahmat Suenu is a final-year law student at the University of Lagos. Her interest in Model United Nations is driven by her interest in international law, public policy, and the Sustainable Development Goals.
She participated in her first Model UN conference in 2019 at LMUN and subsequently emerged as the best delegate at the Ghana International Model UN in 2020. She served as a researcher for the General Assembly First Committee (DISEC) at LMUN 2021. She was also the International Press Editor-in-Chief, at YISMUN 2021/22.
Rahmat will be serving as the Undersecretary-General for the Peace, Security, and Human Rights Department, LMUN ’22/’23.
Ayooluwa Adekoje Adegoke
Under Secretary General, Development Department
Ayooluwa Adekoje Adegoke is in his 4th year, studying law at the University of Lagos. His LMUN journey began in 2019 when he won the distinguished delegate award in the Assembly of African Union(AAU). In 2020, he won the outstanding delegate in the General Assembly. These experiences led to him serving as the vice chair of FAO in 2021.
Ayooluwa is passionate about international relations, Tax, and international law.
Alonge Gloria Oziohu

Alonge Gloria Oziohu is a 4th-year law student at the University of Lagos. She has
participated in several MUNs including the Lagos Model United Nations (LMUN) where she served as a delegate in 2019 and a member of staff in 2021. She believes that MUNs are essential in the sensitization of youths on global issues as well as the development of problem-solving skills. She is passionate about diplomatic relations, human rights as well as the attainment of the SDGs.
Nwaneri Godspower Daniel

Nwaneri Godspower is a Mass Communication student in his final year at the University of Lagos, Akoka.
He has acquired a passion for current challenges in the local and global arenas, as well as a desire to encourage youth involvement in tackling these issues. He served as a delegate at the Lagos Model United Nations 2020, where he won 3 awards. Later that year, he was appointed as a staff for the LMUN 2021 Media and Communications team.

Benita Riagbayire
Under Secretary General, Media and Communications II
Benita is a Tech Marketer and 500-level law student interested in the SDGs. She has been a delegate at several Model United Nations, including YISMUN, IMUN where she won the special mention award in the Continuous Crisis Committee, and LMUN, where she bagged several awards, including the Distinguished Delegate award, Position Paper award, and Peer-to-peer, Best Delegate award and most likely to become a Secretary General award. Benita also served as the Rapporteur for the United Nations Security Council at LMUN ‘21. She is currently serving as the Undersecretary General for Media and Communications II for LMUN 22’23
Fawole-Aderemi Boluwatife
Under Secretary General, Finance
Fawole-Aderemi Boluwatife is a 400-level law student at the University of Lagos. She is passionate about contributing to the achievement of the United Nations’ sustainable development goals, particularly goals 1, 5,8,9, 10, and 17. This passion has driven Boluwatife to volunteer for several organizations.
Her MUN journey started in 2019 as a delegate from Kenya at the Lagos Model United Nations Conference where she was awarded Outstanding Delegation at the end of the Conference. She then moved on to serve as a media and communications staff at the Lagos Model United Nations Conference 2020. In 2021, She served the Lagos Model United Nations as the Under Secretary General, conference services II.
Boluwatife will be serving as the Under Secretary General, Finance for LMUN’22.
Abdurrahman Ademakinwa Adebayo

Abdurrahman Ademakinwa Adebayo is a 400-level Law student at the Univerity of Lagos. A resolute persona, with interests ranging from books and movies to volunteering and community development.
Bayo is passionate about contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. This passion has made him active in global interaction about several issues on the African and World stage. He is particularly interested in contributing to achieving notable SDGs with the use of technology.

Oluwasayoyi Roderick Sowemimo
Under Secretary General, Conference Services II
Oluwasayoyi Roderick Sowemimo is a 3rd-year law student at the University of Lagos. He has been a participant in several discourses centered around Sustainable Development Goals most especially SDG 13 which he is most passionate about. He also has vast experience in planning and executing events from serving on various committees within the Faculty. He served as a staff member at the Lagos Model United Nations in 2021. He believes MUNs are a great way to get youth involved in global issues which is essential in the achievement of the SDGs and the betterment of society at large. He is deeply interested in the maintenance of peaceful relations, living in diversity as well as the attainment of the SDGs.
