Oluwasemilore Olowokure

Secretary General

Oluwasemilore Olowokure is a 4th year law student at the University of Lagos. She has a keen interest in finding solutions to public policy and contemporary world issues. This has fueled her passion for international law, diplomacy and the SDGs. 

She began developing her MUN profile at an early stage, training for the Nigeria International Secondary Schools MUN in 2015. Her other MUN experiences include being a delegate at LMUN 2017, a delegate at the Cambridge University International MUN in 2018, a researcher at LMUN 2018, serving as the Assistant Chief of Staff of LMUN 2019 and the Assistant Secretary General 1 of LMUN 2020 .

Semilore is honored to be serving on the Secretariat of the Conference as the Secretary General of Lagos Model United Nations 2021, and is dedicated to ensuring you have an unforgettable MUN experience!

Zainab Olamide Dunmoye

Deputy Secretary General 

Zainab Olamide Dunmoye is a fourth year law student at the University of Lagos. She has interests in human rights, the attainment of SDGs especially goal 4, 5 and 16. 

She was a delegate at the Lagos Model United Nations in 2018, a researcher for the General Assembly first committee at the Lagos Model United Nations 2019 and served as Chair of the General Assembly third committee at Lagos Model United Nations 2020.

Zainab will be serving as the Deputy Secretary General at the Lagos Model United Nations 2021.

Chinaza Okafor

Assistant Secretary General I

Chinaza Okafor is a 400 level law student at the University of Lagos. She has a keen interest in contributing actively towards achieving the sustainable development goals and solving world problems.
She was a delegate at the Lagos Model United Nations 2018, delegate at the Youth International Summit Model United Nations 2020 and staff for partnerships at the Lagos Model United Nations 2020.
She is currently serving as the Assistant Secretary General for Lagos Model United Nations 2021 Conference.

Anele Mary-Esther

Assistant Secretary General II

Mary-Esther is a 300 level law student at the University of Lagos and a published writer on various platforms. She has a keen interest in Sustainable development and Youth building. She believes that youths are the key in achieving the SDGs and a better future.

Pursuant to her interest in SDGs, she has served as the Researcher for the General Assembly at the Lagos Model United Nations 2019, Deputy-Director for Climate action and clean water committee at the YSDC conference 2020 and was appointed as Director 2 for the Life on land committee for the YSDC Pan-Africa conference 2021. She also served as the Vice Chair for the UNICEF committee at the LMUN virtual conference 2020. In addition, she was a delegate for UN Women committee at the YISMUN Conference and a delegate for UNHCR committee at the WOCMUN 2020.

Mary-Esther will be serving as the Assistant Secretary General 2 for the LMUN conference 2021.

Oludayo Olufowobi

Under Secretary General Research

Oludayo Olufowobi is a fourth-year law student at the University of Lagos. He has interests in intersections between law, finance, and technology. He is an advocate for youth participation in the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

He was a delegate at the Lagos Model United Nations Conference 2018 and the National Model United Nations New York in 2019.  He then served as a researcher in the General Assembly Third Committee in Lagos Model United Nations 2019. He also served as the Chair of the Food and Agricultural Organization at the Lagos Model United Nations Conference 2020. In the same year, he served as the Co-Chair of the Human Rights Council at the Wind of Change Model United Nations Conference.

He is currently serving as the USG Research at the Lagos Model United Nations Conference 2021

Oluwakemi Agbato

Under Secretary General, Peace, Security & Human Rights Department

Oluwakemi Agbato is a law student in her penultimate year of university. The past few years have led her to develop her interest in human rights, international law and development. She is particularly passionate about women and LGBTQ rights as well as data protection and digital rights. She hopes to participate in education that will spur political consciousness worldwide.

Oluwakemi Agbato was a delegate at LMUN 2018. She went on to be a researcher at LMUN 2019. In 2020, she was the chair of the UNWOMEN committee and a communications and Logistics officer of YISMUN. 

Oluwakemi Agbato believes in the transformative power of MUNs and she will be serving on the LMUN secretariat as the USG of the Peace, Security and Human Rights Department. She is determined to contribute towards a fruitful and exciting conference.

Oluwadara Openiyi

Under Secretary General, Development Department

Oluwadara Openiyi is a student of the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos who has a keen interest in Global Transformation. She has served as a delegate at the Lagos Model United Nations 2018, where she won an Outstanding Delegate award. Later that year, she severed as a delegate at the Cambridge International Model United Nations. She also served as a staff at The Lagos Model United Nations 2019. In 2020, she co-chaired the International Atomic Energy Agency at the Youth International Summit Model United Nations and also served at the Vice Chair of the United Nations Environment Assembly at the Lagos Model United Nations.

Her hobbies include Cooking and Travelling. She will be serving on the LMUN secretariat as the USG of the Development Department.

Joseph Ayinde

Under Secretary General, General Assembly Department

Joseph Ayinde is a 400 level student of the faculty of law university of Lagos. He strongly believes in the need for collaborative efforts to combat world issues, and this particularly influences his strong affinity for MUNs, because MUNs serve as a platform for collaborative and fruitful discussions to combat world issues. He is an advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 on education. This is because he believes that education plays a key role in facilitating the actualization of all other SDGs.

He was a delegate at the Lagos Model United Nations 2018 & 2019, and also a researcher at the LMUN 2020.

Joseph will be serving as the Under Secretary General of the General Assembly for Lagos Model United Nations 2021, and is determined to ensure you have an amazing Conference.

Oluwatoni Oluwasanya

Under Secretary General, Media and Communications I

Oluwatoni Oluwasanya is a 300 level Mass Communication student at the University of Lagos. She has fervid interest and experience in the world of Media, Communications & Journalism and is passionate about using these skills to effect change and aid in achieving a more sustainable world now, and for generations to come. 

Before she assumed her post as a member of the Upper Secretariat, she previously served as a Delegate in the LMUN 2019 conference where she won the Best Position Paper award. In the LMUN 2020 conference, she served as a member of staff for the Media and Communications team where she won the Best Staff award.

Oluwatoni is the first ever member of the Upper Secretariat from the Faculty of Social Sciences, UNILAG. She will be serving as USG, Media and Communications I of the LMUN 2021 Conference.

Zainab Adewale

Under Secretary General, Media and Communications II

Zainab Oluwadamilola Adewale is a 400 Level Law Student at the University of Lagos, with a keen interest in Public Relations and Model United Nations. 

She is highly resourceful, well experienced and has a track record of success as a Law Student and as a Public Relations specialist. Zainab has participated as a Delegate at the 2018 Lagos Model United Nations and served as a Media Staff member of the 2020 Lagos Model United Nations. Zainab has shown even more commitment as she is currently the Under Secretary General, Media and Communications II of Lagos Model United Nations 2021. 

With career insights on Alternative Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property and Taxation Law, Zainab is also a staunch advocate for the actualization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and earnestly believes Model United Nations are a catalyst for effective leadership.

Osayuware Osunde

Under Secretary General, Finance

Osayuware Osunde is a 400 level student of the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos. She is passionate about equality and freedom from discrimination based on sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, tribe and financial status. 

Her involvement with LMUN began in 2018 when she was a delegate from Croatia in the United Nations Environmental Assembly. In 2020, she served on the Partnerships team pre-conference and on the Media and Communications team during the conference. She will be serving as the Under-Secretary General Finance in LMUN 2021. She assures that you will get your registration money’s worth and more!

Joseph Olajugba

Under Secretary General, Conference Services I

Joseph Olajugba is a fourth year undergraduate of Law at the University of Lagos. He believes in the SDGs and is of the opinion that if all countries actively work towards the achievement of the SDGs, the world will be a better place. 

His MUN journey started in 2018, where he served as a delegate for UNEA at LMUN 2018. In 2020, he also served as a delegate at the Edo Model United Nations and bagged the Best delegate award. In addition to these, he served in the official capacities of a researcher for FAO at LMUN 2020 and Chair for the Food and Agriculture Organization at the Wind of Change Model United Nations.

He will be serving as the Under Secretary General for Conference Services at LMUN 2021.

Fawole-Aderemi Boluwatife

Under Secretary General, Conference Services II

Fawole-Aderemi Boluwatife is a third year law student at the University of Lagos. She is passionate about contributing to the achievement of the United Nations sustainable development goals. This passion has driven Boluwatife to volunteer for several organizations. 

Her MUN journey started in 2019 as a delegate from Kenya at the Lagos Model United Nations Conference where she was awarded Outstanding Delegation at the end of the Conference. She then moved on to serve as a media and communications staff at the Lagos Model United Nations Conference 2020.  Boluwatife will be serving the Lagos Model United Nations as the Under Secretary General, conference services II for the 2021 LMUN conference.
